Most of my end mill holders are now ER of one of the above mentioned sets with R8 shank. Also ER40 with MT3 for the lathe tailstock and ER32 X 5C for the lathe headstock and all the different 5C fixtures and tooling. The ER sets nicely bridge the inch and metric divide and have very good concentricity .
